1st Round Competition
Pre K, KG and Grade 1
Sūrahs al-Fātiḥah,
Asr,
Ikhlāṣ
al-Kawthar
an-Nās
Grade 2 to 5
Surahs al-Fātiḥah
An-Nās, al-Falaq, al-Ikhlāṣ
al-Masad, An-Naṣr,
al-Kāfirūn, al-Kawthar, al-Māʿūn, al-Quraish, and al-Fīl
Grade 6 to 8
al-Kāfirūn, al-Māʿūn, al-Qāriʿah, at-Takāthur, al-ʿĀdiyāt, al-Bayyinah, at-Tīn, al-Humazah, and al-Qadr
The Judge will ask randomly from the above sūrahs, so the students must memorize and prepare for all sūrahs in their respective categories.
Each category will have 3 winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Live Quran Competition:
Salam Online : Sunday, April 25th
Saba Sunday School : Sunday, April 25th
RiseOnline : Monday, April 26th
R.I.S.E. Academy : Friday, April 30th.
Al-Kisa Foundation: 2nd Round Competition
Winners from round 1 will have a chance to participate in the 2nd & final round in the live competition on May 9th, 2021.
Total Prizes are over $3,000 !!
RULES:
- Competition is only open to students of Al-Kisa Foundation
- Participants must memorize their age-appropriate sūrah with proper pronunciation, tajwīd, and recitation etiquette.
- Judges will evaluate each participants entry for:
- Recitation using proper etiquette
- Clarity and proper annunciation of Arabic sound
- Appropriate application of tajwīd rules
- Overall pronunciation
