This accompanying journal is a way for individuals to process their loss and heal through:
- Āyahs of the Qurʾān and ḥadīth that discuss the loss of children with minimal
commentary so that you may draw your own conclusions and connections to each.- A series of writing prompts that are tools of therapy. The aim of these activities is
twofold; processing trauma and reappraising negative events in order to reduce
complications in long term grief.
- And also includes links to free resources that we feel may assist you in your journey. These include Islamic books, academic papers, Islamic webinars, and articles from other Muslimahs struggling with their own stories of loss.
